Never Stop

We wake up each day
To the reality that has set in 240 ago
We don’t know how to go on with our day
When we are out in the sunshine
And our brothers and sisters still remain in tunnels beneath the earth’s surface
And we don’t know which of them are still alive
Which of them still have hope
And for those who’ve returned, we don’t know what it’s like
To return from hell
And how they have or haven’t yet acclimated to their former lives
Nothing is the same again as it was 240 days ago
Nothing will ever be the same
We’ve learned to tap into the cosmic connection we all have
With our brothers and sisters
And how to ask our father to bring them all home
And just like my children know that if you keep asking you may just get what you want
We need to keep asking
Every day
Throughout the day
And never stop
